 After
being transported to Minstead, each team member will be provided
with his or her own mountain bike and safety helmet. A selection
of bike frame sizes will be made available, and each bike
and helmet will be professionally adjusted to suit the individual.
Within teams of approximately 5 members, the group will be
given their ‘team pack’, consisting of directions
to follow, cryptic clues and fun team tasks. The route itself
takes in some of the most picturesque scenery and villages
within the New Forest, staying on peaceful countryside back
roads. The tasks include finding specific items (a horseshoe
and yesterday’s paper, to name but a few) and taking
unusual photographs (which in turn become an ideal souvenir
of the event).
 Along
the route, the teams will meet up at one stage, where they
will participate in a head to head team challenge, adding
an additional element to the event.
The treasure hunt will end at The Trusty Servant pub in Minstead,
where the teams swap their bikes for a well-deserved pint,
and hand in their answer sheets.
